my mom always dun like me readin...just a thought.. <br />my mom always dun like me reading comics books, and her reason being.. for human being to comprehend something, they always prefer to visualize it (well.. except for the EM guru i worked with who likes to live in the abstract world).. so therefore if you read words, your brain has to process them and turn them into images.. and if you read comics where information comes in as images already, your brain will skip one layer of processing.. and thus i will get stupid if i read comics -_-<br /><br />we invented characters/words for more efficient information flow, because it took too long to draw and it's always easier to agree upon a simple symbol than to agree upon a drawing, as usually different people get difference meaning out from the same drawings. <br /><br />as technology progresses, sending out (accurate/repeatable/identical) graphical information is no longer a challenge, we are going back to the original preference for our information flow.<br /><br />technology is always the excuse for allowing us to get lazy anywayz.emeowchocopizzahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03766988459376609538noreply@blogger.com
